Researching Timeline of changes in WNG specifications
I am at present researching the WNG parts books and other period information in order to try and put together a timeline of when certain parts were changed/altered within the WNG production run. Such things as footrests, rubber parts, mudguards, toolboxs and knobs...there is quite a list!
When completed I will make it available FOC to club members, probably as a PDF, so it can be simply printed off if required.
To this end I am collecting parts books. I have the ones already on the members website and have purchased some others. There does however appear to be a few that I believe exist (based on Orchards book) which I cannot locate. These are:
1/11/40
12/40
April 1942
March 1943
May 1943
March 1944
March 1945
There are probably others I do not know about.
If anyone has access to any of these parts lists, or any others, (and any WNG related documentation) and are willing to let me have a copy it would be very helpful. (PM me or post here).
An electronic copy is probably best or you can send me the parts book and I will scan it and return it. If owners wanted I can then get the scanned copy put on the members website if that was agreed OK.
Cheers
Alan

It's a worthy project and I for one will find it useful as I'm on the 3rd W/NG build and will be interested to see what you come up with. You are probably ahead of my info already. I think I've only accessed 3 W/NG parts books. 2 had the data plates on the rear guard But that doesn't mean the REST was all correct. Nev
