Hi
I need to make a replacement brake rod (4160-40) and was wondering if anyone has the dimensions and thread spec please?
Cheers
Steve

Re: Front brake rod dimensions 4160-40
yes, it is 3/16 dia rod, the lower end has a 7/32 x 32 tpi thread that is 4-1/2" long, the upper end has a thread 3/16 x 32 tpi, 5/16 long, overall length is 21-1/2". The lower thread is flattened on opposite sides to a thickness of .137/.140. There is a drawing in the club archives for the 1927 version which is the same apart from length or you can buy one here, which is a bit easier. https://draganfly.co.uk/shop/66207/fron ... s/#4160-40
