Hi,
Clay at Acme made me some top nuts and I don't recall him charging much extra (if anything) for them when compared to the standard part. Thing is, you can't tell the difference from standard when fitted.

Can anyone tell me if Paul’s will fit the earlier 46-49 single damping hole tele-forks?

Michael.

The only problem you'll have will be the same as with all Ariels - fitting the rods into the top bolts.
People have come up with various solutions - there will have been quite a few discussions on the Forum, over the years.

Ok thanks Simon.
I found this sketch that deals with the rod attaching issue.

Put loctite on the bottom nut on the valve, trust me getting it out after it falls off is a right faff!

Michael, the fitting of the rod to the top bolt as per the sketch works fine, have been using it for some time with no problems.
