W/NG - front brake cable length, far too short

I have a new front brake cable, (In spec I think), but it is much too short. It must be the length of my handlebars. Does anyone know the dimensions of the bars used as standard and against which the cable lengths would have been measured?

Steve, I just had an issue with a brand new front brake cable being too short too on my wng its in the wng technical section. Mine was about 2 inches too short so I had one made by jj cables to my spec.

Adam, I had mine made by JJ cables to spec, it was 2" too short. I shall have to send them my measurements and get a new one made. As an aside, I had them make a few other cables as well, to spec, all slightly wrong for a wng!

From the other post, the cables seem to be made to drawing, but for some reason wouldn't fit my application.
Maybe I have an unusual assembly of parts? Maybe the drawing is wrong? I had mine made a few inches longer but the inner to outer freeplay remain the same.
