The photograph is of the washer used to seal the banjo joint on the rocker oil feed pipe on my W/NG. It is 1/32" thick, 3/8" ID and 7/8"OD. As far as I can tell, It is not made of metal or copper or fibre. It is very hard and low friction.
It does create a very good non leaking oil seal. However, I only have 3 and need 4.
Does anyone know what material this might be and whether they are available anywhere?
I have tried the usual internet sources without success.
In the same vein, I could use a fibre alternative, but I read that fibre washers should only be compressed and not subjected to a turning force. I assume a washer between the nut and the fibre washer would solve that issue?

hi i think they are a hard fibre washer if you can not get them off the clubs spares or drags , you will get them off a washer
and gasket maker or look on ebay or try looking on Google and you will get them

Re: Washer material and application
Put two fibre washers between the boxes and the banjos (where they're not subject to compressing/turning.
That leaves 3 of the old washers to put elsewhere...
(You don't need any washers between the banjos and the nuts - as long as you've got yellow-metal banjos and 'unmolested' original-style acorn nuts on the spindles.)
