1957 Huntmaster tank knee pads

Post by Steve Foster »

Wanting to replace my 57 Huntmaster tank knee pads but can't seem to discover how they are held on to the tank. I have prized the edges away but can't seem to discover any fixtures or fittings that hold them on to the tank. The Draganfly website shows a metal surround and the front of the rubber pads but no means of securing. Do I just keep pulling the old ones off?

Yup. They have a lip that 'hooks' over a plate fixed to the tank, the ally surrounds are just trapped between the knee grip and the tank. A great source of rot is water trapped behind the grips.
