Is this off an Ariel

Post by john.nash »

As swapped to me (who owns two ariels) by my mate (who had an ariel up to last year); as given to him by an old chap down his road (who had an ariel in the mists of time).

I know it's not a rigid single or swingarm ... Is it even an ariel .. the plate number looks 50's but the light earlier

Hi John,
I don't think so. Royal Enfield? - or maybe it's a painted aftermarket.
The front half of the guard is too short to be Ariel.
Watch me be proved wrong because it's some experimental / off road / military / racing / aeronautical one off.
