Simon, look at Rukka Rain Warrior waterproofs / over-suits; 2 piece jacket and trousers are quite easy to get on in a hurry.

Not horrendously expensive but it will make you sweaty if you wear it in warm weather,
But over my Hein-Gericke All Seasons Jacket it works really well.

(Although my PC800 Pacific Coast keeps most of the rain off once you're moving at any speed.)
Interestingly, the trousers seem to be more generously cut than the jacket so try it on if at all possible.

I can't really recommend most of my gear as it's not specific riding gear. I tend to wear stuff the suits where I'm working. So it's a pair of Dr Martins work boots. I have a pair of Goretex trousers http://www.engelbert-strauss.co.uk/Work ... gin=SEARCH

Mind you the thing that keeps me dry as much as anything is the screen!

Then off to another job at the QA hospital, via over the top of Portsdown hill looking over Portsmouth with the Isle of White in the background

Working at Humbly Grove near Alton . They used to get oil out of the ground here but when reserves dwindled they started to use the empty wells to store natural when gas is cheap. When prices go up they sell it back to the grid.

Had a small job on a boat called Restless, but had to go to Hamble Point to pick up the key
I came a cropper here last year, turned left on top of a wet metal rail level with the road and bang I was on the floor! No damage except for my screen broke completely off. I was only doing walking pace but still slid a few feet towards a large wheelie bin. The bin was handy for the broken screen

Ah just what I need a Bofors gun think I will take my VH down there and threaten it if I have to take the head off one more time it's Flak meat! thats a definite for a photo with the old Don R bike.

I know Southampton water and Humble point like the back of my hand (I thought) but I've never seen the gun, time for a ride me thinks.
