Seat cover

Post by T Batnes »

Where to get a proper, good quality seat cover for my 1940 W/NG? The one I fitted (Wassel) is too thin, and cracks easily where it is stressed. I see many have seat covers that look stronger, almost like they're made of leather instead of this faux plastic stuff... also, it must fit - I got another one that didn't - it was too short in the nose, leaving the spring attachment in the open. I believe the seat itself is either Lycett or Terry, I am not sure, but it's the original seat alright.

Get R G Leighton of Birmingham to re-cover it for you. It will cost a bit more but I think you will be highly satisfied with the quality.
