Has anyone seen this converted frame on eBay? Anyone know what it is?

I'm quite tempted to build a trials bike out of it...

Re: Converted Frame
It looks to me as if the wheelbase might be a bit on the long side
for off-road use. There isn't a lot of room under the sump at the
best of times and this may well be less than a standard frame
let alone a W/NG.
It is an interesting bit of work and it would be nice to find out some
more about it.

Re: Converted Frame
I'm not very keen on that platework, and this photo worries me a bit
SG
I do find all the 're-engineered' stuff interesting (as long as it's been done properly). If I had the McCandless swing-arm Sq4 that Paul J has mentioned I wouldn't be wanting to turn it back into a rigid (especially considering the lengths people go to to create other swing-arm versions)!SG

Definitely with you on that one Simon, though rigid SQ4's are rather lovely.Simon.Gardiner wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 1:14 am I do find all the 're-engineered' stuff interesting (as long as it's been done properly). Re: Converted Frame
It might just be the angle of the photograph but the rear frame alignment looks a bit off to me.

Re: Converted Frame
hi it look like to me the frame is out of line unless it is the angle of the photo, like Pete says
