Can someone please advise me how to remove an ignition coil from an Arrow? I have removed the Dummy tank cover, the coil bracket mounting screws and LT & HT wires so that the coil & bracket are loose within the chassis body. However I cannot manouvre the assembly to withdraw it through the aperture. Do I have to separate the coil and bracket? Surely not!xx
Ps. I have no gynecology training

Re: Ignition coil removal
My Arrow has the later tank and the original large coils which will be replaced
with new small coils when the time comes.
I managed to get the coils out with their mounting brackets still attached but
I did unmount both coils before trying to get either out of the frame. Ottherwise,
I don't remember a eureka moment in their extraction to share.
I suspect that Ariel put the coils in before the petrol tank was fitted. There's
another part of an Arrow you won't be removing in a hurry.
