Just be aware that the table on the parallelogram types moves forward a considerable distance when it is lowered, if you're tight for space it may be an issue.

I’m lucky enough to have inherited a hydraulic table lift now but when I built my last arrow, two Black and Decker Workmates were used with great success to assemble the machine, the workmate clamps are wide and deep enough to grip on the tyres and I think I also had a rope around it and over the roof joist at one time for extra security. I did need help to lift it down when completed of course but the other advantage with workmates over hydraulic tables is how little space they take up when not in use

hi the olney problem with using the work mates is getting the bike off and on unless you have a winch from above i have used my big engine crane to lift my bike on to a bench

We didn’t find getting it off the workmates too difficult, I had a friend to help and he is a science teacher so no weightlifter!
