Thread sizes

Hi does anyone know the thread sizes of the 2 crankshaft end covers for extraction please, that’s the threaded holes on the plates ,I want to make my own extractor bolts, any information would be most helpful and welcome,Thanks Roy

5/16 UNC

HI Roy,Roger G is half right,A standard 5/16 unc bolt is used,but the first 1/2 inch of the bolt is turned down to 1/4 inch with a 1/4 unc thread making it a shouldered bolt to stop you punching a hole through the end covers,Roger Lee and out

Thank you both , yes I had a 5/16 bolt, so realised that it was turned down , bought myself some thread gauges so should be ok now on, Regards Roy.
