Hello, There is a piston supplier in Telford , I think, called Thorntons they had some original type two stroke pistons for sale last year but the person who made them suddenly stopped supplying them so they may not have many left. They are pricey !

I have come across engines with odd size pistons, although not on a two stroke twin, so don't know if it makes that much diference.

The Suzuki pistons are different in length and have different running characterists to the original Ariel types.

THornton's are in Shrewsbury, good people but any remanufacturde piston is unlikely to the same in weight and all other characteristics to match your other one. You may have to bite the bullet and nuy a pair.

Are Thorntons still trading - I thought I read somewhere (OBM ??) that they had closed ?

Good people to deal with, I had a couple of items from them (Piston for a Panther & rings for an Excelsior).
