Three Ariels for sale.

Post by DavidLittle »

Hello,
My name is David Little and this is my first attempt at using the forum with thanks to Simon G. for his help.
I have had to give up motorcycling for various health reasons and so have for sale my three much loved Ariels.
The first is a 1952 VH which I have owned since 1976 and which I restored in the 1990s. It has all of its original cycle parts and has had a full engine rebuild, and all of the plunger suspension bushes have been replaced since when it has covered only 400 miles.
Price £5500.
(See photos below)

I also have a 1957 FH which I bought in 1975 and is in well used condition (the photo is quite flattering!). It has a 1956 engine which
has done about 3000 miles since new mains and big ends were fitted and has all the correct parts including a FERC.
It has not been used for about five years and will need a little recommissioning work.
Price £3000.
(See photos below)

Finally, a 1957 NH which left the factory as a VH and I rescued it about twenty years ago as a basket case with no engine.
I fitted a rebuilt engine, new rims and spokes, and polished aluminium mudguards and it looks quite smart!

It has an age related plate and has now covered 1200 miles with no problems.
Price £3250.

The bikes are in South Oxfordshire.

Those are three really great looking bikes, David, and if I wasn't currently engaged in getting a '54 VH (swinging arm) on the road, I'd have been after that '52 like a shot. Hope they all found good buyers, looking to maintain them as well as you obviously have.
