As you know Footman James do give the club a small commission (which adds up to over 4 figures in a year) and also give us a slightly preferable rate. I use them and I really believe they are the best of a pretty bad lot. Their admin could be improved but when I had reason to claim a few years back ...

Flywheels

I have come across a pair of flywheels which I don't need. I had always believed them to be early 500cc wheels. However the only numbers I can read on them are either A7 530 or is it A7 590? I have the list we published in Cheval from Roger Gwynn and I have also looked through the website parts list...

FH650 Restarting problem

I have a strange problem with my rebuilt FH. It starts when cold 1st kick with a tickle and on choke. It ticks over exceptionally well and rides perfectly. If I stop it when hot, it restarts easily. However, if I stop it and leave it for 10 minutes it refuses to start again until the engine has cool...

John, it is possible to get a frame staightened on a built bike. I had one done on a large jig once by a guy in Manchester - forget his details though.
