Re: W/ng rear stay
so Nev although the stay is riveted to the guard, in the pic in primer, there appears to be a bolt holding the guard also, 'tis this bolt hole that's not present on my new stand kind regards I think you may have the wrong lifting handle. Looking at Drags lists: this one (see below) has the combined...

Re: Dynamo not working
Charles If you are using a bridge wire between the F and D terminals and putting your multimeter between that wire and the body of the dynamo you should be getting easily 10 volts on the meter when you rev the engine a bit (no need to go mad on the revving) ...changing the multimeter leads over will...

A quick clean sorts it out. Could also so a case of the dynamo loosing its residual magnetism so it ...

Re: W/ng rear stay
That's an interesting picture of the lifting handle mounting, the one I have purchased has the guard bracket welded to it but the pic seems to show a separate part attached by the bracket which is on the guard, I may have to sort this out a tad by removing this piece and drilling a locating hole, a...

Re: W/ng rear stay
That double cranked bend is not as any original I've seen. I think your guard is a bit over to the chain side. Nev Nev If it my photos of the front bracket you refer I think its an optical illusion. The bracket is just a plain 90 degree bend. The centre rib of the mudguard is inline with the centre...

...the other method they employed was to saw the outer case in half diagonally from top to bottom. Wow!  Like this: Ariel split primary.jpg On yours; the fact that you can see the primary chain under the clutch suggests they have completely removed the whole section of the outer prim...
