After a tip-off from Ace Classics, I use Threebond 1215. It works well and stays quite tacky for a long while during assembly . It’s grey too so blends in with alloy cases etc

A ‘52 KH ( with no papers apparently) went for £3500 +15% premium today at Stafford

Another thumbs up for Redditch Shotblast and Powdercoat . Not used them for a couple of years so no comment on current timescale but always been pleased with them
