I need to make a replacement brake rod (4160-40) and was wondering if anyone has the dimensions and thread spec please?

If it's 44 then it would also have the headlight switch located under the seat (RH side) with a blank headlamp shell (no ammeter) The switch has a "Test" position at the anticlockwise limit.. For the tail Light I'd put something off the pannier frames and have a stoplight if you ride it i...

Thanks for the replies, it is encouraging to know I am not alone!

I realise the bike as standard does not carry a rear numberplate, but of course for legal reasons, I need to display one. Is there any preference regarding what to use and whether fitting a MT110 is a good idea (I think it is)?

Welcome to the forum. The frame is actually from a naval contract S6520 and the engine is not listed but probably supplied as a spare to the army, assuming it is still BH 30952, when last listed on the club's register.
