Re: Find bike registration details from a frame number
Paul,
Very interesting. However, it is beyond my ability to investigate
Having registered a motorcycle previously with the DVLA it might be easier for me to go down that route.

Re: Find bike registration details from a frame number
Thanks both. This is the bike that Roger has already confirmed is a 1956 NH shipped to Monmouthshire.
The frame number is PR 2754 and the engine number is MA 1219.
Many thanks,
Dennis

Re: Swinging arm
If that is not the correct type there is one on eBay with the open ends for the spindle. Pricey though. Again no connection to me.

Find bike registration details from a frame number
Is it possible to find a motorcycle's registration details from a frame number? I am not seeking to circumvent the work of the club's Registrar, I am just curious to know if it can be done. I will most likely need the club's help to register the motorcycle in due course. I bought a frame and engine ...

Re: Full width hub, sprocket does not fit.
Sean, thanks but I have an offer of a good used item from a reliable source.
The bike is a bitsa so I am trying to keep costs down.

Re: Full width hub, sprocket does not fit.
Thanks everyone. I am now more confident that the hub is correct and the sprocket I have is wrong. I will find a correct sprocket i.e. 47 teeth, flat and with cut outs. I see that Drags have new ones for sale.

Re: Full width hub, sprocket does not fit.
Will,
The stud spacing is 2 and 5/8" centre to centre (see yellow line). The studs protrude about 1/2" from the hub. Not sure what the thread is but I bought nuts 42-6095 and they fit.

Dennis
