Ted Woodrow's replica of Bickell's blown Square 4 is in the National Motorcycle Museum. I believe after Ted sold it at auction it travelled about a bit and changed hands until it resurfaced at an auction now listed as the original and at a much higher price. To make adding the solder easier, original screws were tin plated I believe. For my tanks I had some screws tin plated and building the solder up into a dome worked fine.

OK, got a reply from Andrew Hawkeswell on the Facebook page. Looks like I have the assembly upside down and the large bearing with the grease nipple goes at the top. Makes more sense now.
