I remember using washing line wound around the tyres to get to work back in the 1950s - it worked well.

Hi All. I will shortly be moving house. Amongst stuff I will not be taking are bound copies of Cheval from 1987 to date. Plus quite few loose copies of very much earlier ones. It is very obvious that the forum is far more useful to us as a Club than FB. For years I have been looking up on the forum and on the Website when I needed to check stuff for Cheval. When I changed tank rubbers I used to use early Mini Exhaust mounting bobbins. Just run a Whitworth tap over the existing thread on one side and fit that to the tank. I still have them on one bike.
