Steve, the first plate is just a slightly off round disc which spreads the load of the 4 screws into the chaincase as it attaches to the engine case. I made one out of a piece of tin to fit. The second is the barrier between the dry clutch basket and plates to the wet chaincase. It has to be fitted ...

From the other post, the cables seem to be made to drawing, but for some reason wouldn't fit my application.
Maybe I have an unusual assembly of parts? Maybe the drawing is wrong? I had mine made a few inches longer but the inner to outer freeplay remain the same.

Steve, I just had an issue with a brand new front brake cable being too short too on my wng its in the wng technical section. Mine was about 2 inches too short so I had one made by jj cables to my spec.

Hi, Could anyone assist with what gasket material a 45 tin chaincase would be made of please? When I dismantled the inner clutch cover from the outer case there was quite a thick gasket material but I couldn't really tell what it was. There is no information on my frame as it is after the last documented war department contract, so I guess nothing fitted would be incorrect!

Unless a tin timing case turns up i will be keeping it as an aluminium one for the time being,
