thanks for this Simon, I have had a look at this info and although I can find the frame number the engine at 31379 does not appear, 30751-55 1944, 32001-34250 1943, no mention of mine, any ideas pse? kind regards

right think I have found the frame no. appears as X [6 or 5 or G}? 20758, does this help? kind rergards

picked the bike up today, stated manufactured 1946 on V5c, and sports a non transferable Scots number, live with this, the engine no is BH-3 1379. where do I find the frame number please? kind regards

I have agreed to purchase a 1942 w/ng from a club aquaintance, it has been civilianised in the past and sports a red tank on mainly black cycle parts, I am wondering if a bike this age would have had tank instuments when manufactured or an independant speedo?, this has such, doesn't bother me if it ...
