Hi Andy, yes Panther did use something similar. I have one on my 37 M100 though it just has a flat bracket with holes in rather than the barrel trunnion ends that Ariel used. They are available through the club though shinny in SS.

Thanks Roger and Nev, I'll do as suggested and forget the tab washer when I change the oil and clean out the trap. I guess it also must have been a bit difficult to get at to bend over the tab when lying on the ground to replace the plug.
