Hi David, gel are sensitive to charging current, what happens is the gasses produced during charging force the gel paste away from the plates causing local permanent damage. Lithium ion need slightly lower charging voltage to get the best out of them, they seem to tolerate over current without a pro...

Hi John, on vintage bikes the headlamp bulbs had to be focused manually, your description of halos and scatter being typical signs of an out of focus bulb. Perhaps moving the LED in or out may improve matters.

Hi James, please bear in mind that the cost of refurbishing a motorbike is expensive in time and money, and a square four refurbishment costs would make your eyes water. This will have a big effect on what you will be offered for this bike.

Alan, my bike is in trials/scrambles trim so is far from standard. For what it is worth, mine has a chrome clip around the tail piece of the silencers which are attached to a tabs welded to the mudguard brace that runs from the bottom of the upright brace back to near where the tail light attaches. ...

The ones on my NH are at slightly different heights at the end of the silencer, it's not much but if such things annoy you it could be a problem.
