Thanks for the tip John; luckily Tony B had just the right joint sitting in his workshop..Ironic really as
he is the one who is most likely to suffer the consequences of a detachment being the most frequent passenger
to date!

Wanted: sidecar ball joint
Hello all Just doing a bit of maintenance on my '30 model B outfit and have discovered that the rear (large) ball joint is pretty much worn out. Does anyone have one of these knocking about under a pile of sidecar fittings even if attached to other bits... I would buy a new one but I dont think anyo...
