Arrow seat

Has anyone bought one of the remanufactured Arrow seats from Yeovil as advertised on EBay?
At £175 + pp they look good and I’m wondering what they’re like in use.
I know that KR Leighton can also supply but looking for an alternative if the quality is right.

Re: Rear Sprocket

B&C could make me a sprocket but would come in at £40-50 Some interesting points raised - he says that all chain sprockets are imperial, they never went metric! Why do I see lots of 13mm sprockets available then? May be only 0.3mm (0.012”) further between teeth but wouldn’t that start stretching...

Rear Sprocket

Can anyone help me to find a supplier of 1/2” pitch rear sprockets suitable for machining up to graft on in place of a worn out original?
Plenty of metric sprockets around but not finding imperial without going to Trumpland for one.

Re: Brake cam

Thanks for your replies.
This photo has the info I was looking for and shows the spring attachment boss. Looks like it was only used on the fulcrum adjusted backplate which has the ally shoes.

Re: Brake cam

Will Thanks for the reply. Usually there are 2 holes in the annular rib for anti squeal springs as can be seen in Nicks photo but do you have a third hole for the cam return spring? It looks as though the cam return was prevented from being pulled over centre by a second tab which must have acted as...

Brake cam

Can anyone help me with a picture or drawing of how/what kind of return spring is fitted to this design of brake cam. Better still, does anyone have an original spring they would part with?
I believe it was an early Leader brake design.
Thanks.

Re: Engine bolt hole query.

High Nick The pair of holes underneath are for the side stand mounting plate so, unless you’re lucky enough to own one of those much sought after items, you won’t need to use them. The tapped hole at the front is not needed on the Arrow but attaches a support for the body panels on the Leader. Howev...

Footrest (Flat type)

Did I imagine it or have I seen a drawing of the footrest?
Would be good to put them back into the correct alignment after so many years of abuse.
I have looked in files but can’t find anything so maybe my memory is just playing tricks on me....Help!
