Cheers Steve. such a shame what happened. I have seen the above bike a few times and it reminded me of a K series (Flying Brick) BMW I used to have. The engine was remarkably smooth - enough that it could have been mistaken for an electric motor. Just think what could have been if Ariel had taken th...

It would be good to get an update on their recent break-in?

Not sure if you are aware, but some pond life broke in several weeks ago and stole a lot of rare silverware.

I hope they managed to recover what was lost and catch the culprits.

If the above does not work, may be worth trying someone with an ultrasonic cleaning tank

Thanks for the info guys. I ended up using POR15 paint stripper.

Great stuff, did the job very well, but will look into electrolysis for next time!

Removing paint from inside tank

I have a fuel tank which has been repaired and painted on the inside.

Not knowing what paint has been used,I want to remove the paint and use an ethanol proof sealant instead.

Can anyone recommend a method of removing the existing paint from inside the tank?

Having recently returned from a European trip on the bike where I managed to destroy not one but two car sat-navs!! I have decided to stop being tight and invest in proper bike one.

The latest Garmin Zumo can tell what your tyre pressures are and choose a route with the twistiest roads!!

What pressure does your washer put out? This could be a factor if you re going to complain to the company. My washer is 130 bar and I wouldn't like to use anything higher than this. I agree that If they have not prepped the metal properly, a small amount of rust could easily prevent the coating from...
