Thank you both for your remarks.
I have a spare "4 hole" cam wheel I could press onto the cam to be safe.
Perhaps Paul can answer the question on differing profiles on F cams.
Cheers.

Re: NH camshaft in W/NG
Nev and Simon, To pursue the conversation on the small base, twin lobe cam, the A7/642. Mine is mounted on a cam wheel that has no balance holes. The photo in Cheval, May 2008 shows this cam mounted to a cam wheel having balance holes. Which cam wheel would be correct for this cam or does it matter?...

Hi Frank,
Thanks for the interest. If Ian is not interested you are next in line.
What project are you working on now?
Cheers.

Hi Ian,
I have as surplus this early Lucas, 8" brass shelled headlamp painted and ready to use. I think it is a DU142 but stand to be corrected.
I live in BC, Canada Ray

Re: smiths 8 day clock
The club sells an excellent reproduction of the Smiths Cricklewood 8 day clock.
Club reproduction: Photos of an original. You will often see similar Smiths 8 Day clocks on e-bay but they have much deeper bodies that the motorcycle ones.

Re: Ariel WNG unobtainable front brake shoes
W/NG steel shoes - from rear wheel. 6 3/8"" as marked in red on last photo. These do look quite different from the photos posted above, so unlikely they fit W/NG front wheel. You can see how the shoe ends were fabricated for the rear. IMG_3478.jpg IMG_3477.jpg IMG_3476.jpg IMG_3475.jpg IMG...

Having seen your VH in Osoyoos, it is a lovely bike.
It was also great to finally meet you Frank.
