Tim Healey owned it for a very long time in unrestored condition, he offered it to me for 16000 pounds when he was living in ower village in Holland.

It's a France ABC clone, this is a 500cc engine the owner not beïng happy with the original frame but used the springs.

A 1904 number 2 Minerva Ariel would be 10.000 - 15000 pounds.

I think this is the missing L5000, the frame number is on the front of the front engine lugg and should start with a 4 if it is 1904. It's the long heavy frame with Minerva engine and engine supports but the wrong 1903 Ariel 2- 3/4 HP tank this should be a Minerva tank wich came with the engine. Or ...

I would rather buy a split original becouse the india tanks are much more work (to large or to high) and will be leaking aswell.

The story is the same if the coil is leaking so I would try a new coil.

This sound very familiar; your magneto slipring is leaking.
