Paul i have an original rear brake switch and really there arnt many alternatives to it,I have fitted a Moto-Guzzi v7 early seventies brake switch to my front brake cable which I made myself it is quite simple to do if you can make your own cables

Heres one of two greats, Ariel and Fausto Coppi,there are some great photos of motorcycles in cycle races,especially the 1930s 40s and 50s,then they change to BMW after then,I found this one on Pinterest.Someone will be able to identify the motorcycle

Mark, I got the Accuspark ignition and had exactly the same problem as you,if you look at Draganflys electronic ignition IGN-15 it has a metal spacer under the baseplate, there must be differences between the car and motorcycle distributors somewhere

Adam , rather than using a hole punch which tends to push the material outwards and split especially composite cork , I use gasket drills and you can make your own out of any round tubing filed inside to an outside cutting edge , or if you have a lathe even better made of steel , they are best used ...
