Yes it could be, but they manifest themselves as hollows rather than projections which have been filed off, and also they would be lower than the drive side bearing housing if laid horizontal so not convinced. Hi All. I was wondering what these marks are on the front left side crankcase? I have seen them on many photos of the 4 stroke singles. My bike also has them. Does anyone know and why they are here? I cannot imagine why unless they are the remains of a casting mould at manufacture...See for yourself...
