Last bits for my W/NG to find please
Good evening, I have now found most parts for my 1945 W/NG project but a few bits are proving hard to source if anyone has the following please? Drags are on backorder for the parts they have listed. A pair of war department style brake and clutch levers complete or parts - what ever you have please...

Re: Correct rear mudguard for a wn/g?
Here's mine, the ends look longer than yours, but both equal. Decent quality i would say, not flimsy! Measures a fraction more than Roger has said but I was measuring with a rather inaccurate tape measure as its all I could find!
Hope this helps

Re: Correct rear mudguard for a wn/g?
I will grab it tomorrow and take a picture next to a steel rule and post a pic. Fairly sure it was a hole not a slot though! But you can judge it against the length of yours to know!

Re: Correct rear mudguard for a wn/g?
Your mudguard looks like an original and correct from the pictures I have seen. I have just bought a rear stay from drags, it has both legs the same length, so as Simon says it does look repaired to the far side. How do they measure up?

Re: Front brake cable source
Thank you for taking the time to measure Nev. That extra 2.5 inches (19 inch sleeve) would allow the cable to fit my application!
I will get the short one sent back to Drags once we are through Christmas and then have to see about a source for a cable the same length as yours!
Many thanks
Adam

Re: Front brake cable source
Thank you for the replies, Rogers picture shows how I am attempting to route it. Mine measures 16.5 inch sleeve and 19.5 inch cable. Mine has the non rubber type handle bar clamps. I guess there is nothing to say my forks are correctly assembled so will have a proper look over it during the Christma...

Re: Help with rear brake plate/cam
I guess it also depends if the whole shaft has enough length to accommodate the extra washer too as to whether you will be able to make enough room by turning the bush down? There is a whole rear brake plate complete with cam on ebay (all needs reconditioning) if you got stuck i noticed. Although it...

Re: Help with rear brake plate/cam
Are you sure thats not the right cam as it looks the same as mine. I think they are weld in, Drags sell a replacement weld in bush but it looks slightly different to yours. I would say it looks only tacked in too and may need a more substantial weld? Then perhaps you could reduce the depth of the fl...

Re: Help with rear brake plate/cam
Do you have the large diameter but thin washer which goes between the shoe face and the brake plate on the cam?
