they make all types of springs anything give them a ring if you got part number they can look it up i had custom made springs as well

Hi I Have had NO bits or flaking if you warm it up it will make it more soft and will fill the crack better leave it for 24 hours at room temp then you sand it if you need to

use JB weld i have used it on heads exhausts manifolds it works great
