Re: E3LM Field Coil replacement
Hi Bevan, When I changed my field coil I used a decent bolt, nut, washer and short spacer to force the shoe with coil in place against the body of the dynamo before fitting the screws with an impact driver then staking them. I held the body lightly in a vice with it supported underneath with a block...

Hi Richard, SRM supply new ATD's for the BSA A10 / A7 models, so will suit a Huntmaster, not cheap though:-

Re: Swinging arm single distance pieces
Hi Alex, As mentioned, Acme do them. You need the single metalastic spacer 4 1/2" long tube, scroll down in this link:- https://acmestainless.co.uk/product-category/ariel/ariel-swinging-arm/?v=79cba1185463 It won't rust either being stainless so removing the spindle in future should be fairly e...

Re: London - Edinburgh 2023 and the hopeless AA
That's worrying Rob as I am sure many members and classic bike owners are insured with Peter James. I trust you will be contacting Peter James to inform them of your troubles with the AA as well as bitterly complaining to the AA for such a miserable (non) service ?
Best wishes,
Keith.

Re: The KHA restoration starts (slowly)
Hi Paul, Not wishing to teach such an experienced Arielist as yourself to suck eggs but just a thought about your carburetion issue. If you are happy that the fuel level and Pilot Jet are both fine then perhaps try a slide with more cutaway ? I had the same problem, albeit with a monobloc carb, on m...
