Fabulous, I thought this would be a very long shot, I gather the person managing twin spares is yet to be decided .. any suggestion of who I could contact to purchase a pair of late model ( no small end bush ) con rods? Thanks for the advice, Alan

Hi David, I didn't mind about the "wrong" box except that if I should take into account if some difference could affect how smooth i could get the bike to run at around 50mph ( which is needed to keep up with the rallying mob in South Australia .. a lot of flat land over here! ). it is a r...

oops! It may be obvious this is not my area of expertise. It just occurred to me that the balance factor % may be irrelevant if I get the crank assembly dynamically balanced...could that be true?

Thank you gentlemen. Paul you are correct that it was bought from the Acme trading Co. ..it was on a bit of paperwork ..do I need a dating certificate or have you already given me the relevant info? The insides of the primary cases are clean ( I tried to include a photo but must have stuffed it up)....

Hi, I bought a '57 KH from a Ceylonese gentleman who rode it when employed by their automobile association ( the bike was first registered to the association in may 1959 and he purchased it from them in 1984). Hi, I have a GB45 gearbox on a '57 KH twin. Many years ago the box was rebuilt and a 'better' secondhand mainshaft was used.I have discovered that it is bent ie. the end of the shaft on the drive side, just behind the threads, runs about .010" out on one rotation. This is magnified to give a wo...
