Anything issues with this model? I am looking for something that's easier to start and lighter. Wouldn't paint it but get it sorted and reliable. Not sure what a good price is but can see it selling for £4500 or more. Thanks John

Took bike out yesterday did approx. 100mile, slight oil leak from around magneto, stopped for breakfast, ticking over oil pumping out of the crankcase pipe breather. Stopped engine. Restarted no visible leaks. Rode home, ticking over no leaks. Restarted an hour later and it was leaking out of crankc...

Spoke to someone recently who was looking for a tool box, he was told to look for a BSA one as they were the same,

AAh, thank-you for that, will not pursue any further, spoke to the owner and he stated that his mechanic had assured him it was totally original, thanks again, I will keep looking

Had carb done, but also needed cleaning afterwards as bike wouldn't run properly, all sorted now, had magneto sorted as well, if anyone nr Swansea wants the number of a good british bike mechanic, let me know, VB 600 starts easily and runs well!!
