Good work Adrie. A logical eye and patience fixes a lot of problems

Thanks Steven, that would be appreciated.
Adrie, I don't know what people like about the Suzuki's, but they have a strong following. Not really a light trail bike I agree.

Re: It's a new one but it rides like an old one
Well, I hate to say it, but what about a V strom 650? Ugly as whatever, but they have a fantastic reputation, light, good for passengers, cruise all day.. I have a mate who has one. Personally, I think he has lost it, but he raves about it.

Re: 1948 KH
Hmm - Editor John has forgotten more than I will ever know - but I can't see a difference between single and twin outer cases.
However, I only have early KH's - and the inner is different on the later models.

Re: Sidecar mudguard fell off
Hi Adrian,
I've had a sidecar mudguard try to part company as well. There must be a lot of vibration over the wheel.
I reckon the go (unless you have a respirator with an air supply) is to use 2 pack paint outside.
The repair looks good.

Re: Cylinder head with issues..
I have wire welded a head with oxy. You just need to be patient.
Nothing to lose using Vincent's MIG method and plenty of heat via an oxy set.
