Shouldn't it be GB though? UK could be confused with Ukraine (which is actually UA on the ISO 3166 list). Maybe no matter. I have also seen ENG, SCO, etc.

It does look to be flat, yes. I could polish the mating surface up a bit though. What would you use to seal it, just the gasket itself? Thanks

57 FH sealing up the sump drain cover

Hi I've had a persistent oil leak from the sump cover plate. I have a new gasket and the four double ended studs and their nuts and spring washers look fine. Should I use Stag Wellseal jointing compound instead of the gasket or as well as? Or any other advice to stop the drips down there please?
