Re: vintage photos of Ariel for pleasure
A picture of my grandfather on the right hand side. I assume the rider is also the owner, Mr E Rowles. I have no idea what the manufacturer or model of the bike is but I assume it is an early 1920's machine.

Wanted please - Type 1 front hub and brake for 1937 VB
I am hoping that someone may have a front hub and brake suitable for a 1937 VB with rigid frame and girder fork that they are willing to part with.
Draganfly list this as a Type 1 wheel assembly.

Re: WNG front wheel rim wanted
Hi Vincent, are you still looking for a WNG front rim?
I have a complete WNG wheel including brake which I am hoping to swap/trade for a 1937 era front wheel in similar completeness (Non WNG).

Re: Ariel Riding and Fixing 2023
I am running a 180 main jet in a 928 concentric with a fixed idle jet bush, needle clip in the middle position and number 3 cutaway slide. I think the cutaway may be too little giving a rich mixture at small throttle openings, tomorrow I will check my plug colour. Is yours a 28mm concentric?

Re: Ariel Riding and Fixing 2023
Steven, how did the 220 main jet work out, looks as if you are running with a concentric. I also have a concentric on my 54 VH, but get a lot of "surging" type misfire on very small throttle openings just off the idle stop. Regards, Ian

Re: 54 VH Exhaust Valve Stem Diameter
Thanks Keith, that has set my mind to rest, never thought to look at the Feked.com site. Also it confirms that my inlet valve is correct too.
Best regards, Ian

54 VH Exhaust Valve Stem Diameter
My 1954 VH engine has an exhaust valve with a stem diameter of 0.375 (3/8") and an inlet valve with a smaller stem diameter.
I am suspecting that my exhaust valve is non-standard - can anyone confirm please?

Rear Mudguard for 1937 VB
I need a rear mudguard for my 1937 VB and was considering purchasing one of the offerings available from Indian manufacturers. The type I need has a hinged rear section and is partially valanced. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with the mudguards that are available? Any help appreciate...
