Great, Thanks Pete. Been in touch, John has exactly what I want - and in stainless. Will be ordering on Monday. (he is a Kempton Park this weekend). I've been searching for a replacement on since last summer, when the trunnion screw came adrift and I lost the strap and battery lid, whilst out on a r...

Re: Battery carrier
Does John make battery carrier straps?
I'm looking for one to fit 1957 NH. (Draganfly is always out of stock whenever I look)
How do I get in touch with John?

Out with the cable ties (always carry a few in the tool box but never had to use them until now) Backtracked a few miles, then later in the afternoon made the return journey back along the morning route. Look what I've got stuck on a cupboard door in my workshop.
This one is the number for my 1957 NH at the 1st Festival of 1000 bikes when I did a few laps of the short circuit at Brands Hatch

Cover For 6v Battery
As per the title, I am looking for the cover only to suit standard 6v rubber case battery.
(Out on a ride last week, battery strap screw vibrated loose and I lost the screw, strap and lid) Grrrrrr.
Temporary fix - Gaffer tape and cable ties.
Thanks.

As said before - Dont use a flame as this will burn/char the flux before it has a chance to be activated to do its job. The flux needs heat, but at a lower temp than the solder, and 'cleans' through the temp rise to the MP of the solder. I dont use Bakers as I find it too agressive, but a water solu...
