Re: Ariel LF,LB,MF parts for swop or sale
Hi JohnLay I have a knackered RPD sprocket you can have as a pattern. In 29 they were for thinner chain now unavailable I believe?? I imagine you need a thicker one.

Re: 1930 LF
The brake pedal spindle is drilled in its length for grease to get to the middle of the spindle which is reduced for a section. The external end of the spindle should have a grease nipple. Shame about the cross drilling! The T piece on the inside should hold a spring to help the pedal return to the ...

Re: Ariel LF,LB,MF parts for swop or sale
Sorry, no spare magneto chain cover, I need to repair some of what I need myself.
There is a guy selling a 29 inner cover on ebay, it is worth asking him as he is selling a few LF and LB parts.

Footrests and brake pedals
Hi, I am at last going to get footrests and brake pedals cast for LF,LB 29/30 Ariel's. The footrests are the same as the 500 model F 1929 on etc. Apologies for going AWOL for a year, but family came first, caring for dementia is no fun. After 9 funerals of family and good friends in 12 months, I am ...

Re: Ariel LF,LB,MF parts for swop or sale
Hi Roger, well done with going through it all. I got 3 frames, the ones with all the rear frame sections. 2 are 29 and another 30 I think, did you attempt gearbox numbers too?? I got several gearbox fronts in with the heap of gearbox internals! You wouldn't have seen them without getting covered in ...

Re: 1930 LF
Will Curry, did you get mag sprocket? Is it the mag sprocket or the cam sprocket you need? They are both piculiar to the 250 29/30, they changed again for the sloper 250/350. I have a few spare

Re: 1930 LF
The magneto should be a Lucas MC1, and it looks like you have the right one. The strap around it makes it look odd, but this is correct for 30. in 29 it just bolted from below. Great to have your company at the auction BurtieB , as you know, I too will now have some tigercub hubs spare! I have cams ...

Re: Wanted - 250 LF Wheels or Hubs
Have emailed Hans , so he knows I am going.
Would be great to do some swops with buyers of other Ariel lots, so we all stand a chance of building bikes.
Anyone else going to the auction???
