Lucas DU142 8 in Headlamps
Dragonfly mentions two types of headlights with different reflectors offered on Ariels from 1934/1936-1940. What is more correct for a 1940 model bike? Light output? Thoughts? I assume the one with the flat glass is much poorer light dispersion.

The bike was for sale I think at the El Camino Swapmeet here in Southern California, I did not pay too much attention as with side car, the bike would be into the 5 figure price range.
