I did read that Roger and it had me just as confused.
Your write up on Drags states 45-48 had the MU42 (Domed), yet the 47 and 48 parts books state a DU42 (Flat)
And then we have the brochures showing flat from after the war until 48, then on domed

Re: Correct Headlight 1948 Ariel NG350
To add to the above, Ive just been looking through the sales brochures located in the document library. 1946-1948 brochures clearly show flat lensed headlights, the dome lens appears in the 1949 brochure. So going by the brochures, and the fact that the Ariel parts book states a DU42R, a flat lens m...

Correct Headlight 1948 Ariel NG350
Lad's,
Id just like confirmation on which is the correct headlight for my bike, the 1947 - 1948 parts book shows a DU42R. Am i correct in saying that this is the flat glassed lens variety and not the domed MU42?
cheers
Josh

Re: Girder Forks - Are these genuine
Bit of an update. Spoke with the seller today, they had been retrofitted to an old Velocette and an adapter was made and that is what can be seen screwed onto the top of the steering stem, this just screws onto the existing thread and no modification has been made to the forks. He does not have the ...

Re: Girder Forks - Are these genuine
Thanks for that detailed info Paul, will definitely be asking for some better quality photos before deciding on anything. I new about the W/NG having the higher ground clearance but i wasn't aware of what the different dimensions. With regards to the tapered steering bearing, i believe Drag's do now...

Re: Spotted on Ebay - Early 30's Model E
Not sure i understand what 1932 VH dispatched to Coventry with a 1930 model E engine dispatched to Australasia means? So it left the factory as a 1932 VH and was dispatched to Coventry. Was the 1930 engine added by a dealer, there is a record of it so guessing something "Official" occurred...

Spotted on Ebay - Early 30's Model E
Spotted this on Ebay, is located in Australia. A quick search shows the frame and engine are from different years so not matching. Not sure about the rest of the bike. I do not know the seller, just one i spotted on Ebay and thought others may be interested. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/335054555584?...
