Nev. How do i check the valve spring strength. They are the ones that were fitted when i bought the bike

Thanks Nev. Can you explain a bit about what you mean by a proper repair.

I'm on the lookout for a 1954 VH cylinder head (aluminium one). Does anyone have one that is surplus to requirements by any chance?
Some old repairs have cracked on mine and dont look too.good.
