I've been checking over my new acquisition, changed the oil and checked filters in tank and sump both very clean. Removed the sludge trap and again all very clean. The sludge trap threads showed signs of threadlock, should I use it? I am happy I got it good and tight.

Has anyone any idea what the two holes (marked) at each side of the KH head are for? They go from the mating face through a couple of fins and stop. My 1951 KH500 has a bent bottom yoke from a collision. Drags don't have any used yokes H59-49U which is the one listed for my bike but they do have used H59-55U in stock. Can anyone advise if this will fit or what mods are required to make it fit?

It was a bit tight so added 2 thou more shimming and was able to get a 2 thou feeler in between bush and large washer, I am happy its now with the factory recommendations.
