I have spent an inordinate amount of time and money having the original carb refurbished, restated the needle valve , checked the float , and still it leaks stops when running. As long as I'm not going to damage the casings I'll give it a go and ratchet strap the bike to the
Lift.

The bike only has a rear stand , rear wheel clear of ground front a sod to remove as I am getting older.

I need to lift my Ariel ng 350 off the ground to make it easier to remove the wheels.

Can I lift it with a table lift under the engine / gearbox without damage ?

I've probable cotributed to the problem by over greasing twice a year not half a century !

Where did you get the new tapered bearings please ?

I'll probably go for relining the shoes as the hill around here are pretty steep.

Hi,

Just dismamtled the rear brake hub to find grease all over the brake linings .

The hub got very hot on a run so may have been the cause.

Do I need to fit new seals if so where can I get them ?

Also do I need to reline the brake shoes or ca they be cleaned ?
