Mine arrived last Monday also. A great read. Ran into a couple of fellow Black Ariel owners at the Bendigo Historic MCC swap meet and suggested they have a look at it. A very useful resource. Thank again Charles.
Cheers.

Re: Black Ariel "shop manual"
Hi Charles. Just purchased my copy through Amazon Aus. Looking forward to a good Xmas read. While I'm refurbishing the later model '29 Model F, no doubt I'll learn a lot from your experiences. Thanks for putting The Cronicles together.
Cheers.

Re: 1929 Model F Centre Stand (Oops, not 1927!)
Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I might try the clamp on side stand in the first instance and see how this goes. Karol, If this does not work for me, I'll get back to you about adopting a rear stand of another model.
Cheers.

1929 Model F Centre Stand (Oops, not 1927!)
Has anyone had experience with improving the "lifting" action of the centre stand for a Model F. The original set up requires a Herculian effort and is hernia inducing. I was thinking of fabricating a couple of feet to weld onto the base of each leg to get some sort of rolling action. Any ...

Re: '29 Model F Wiring Diagram & Wire Colours
Many thanks Rodger. Mine seems to have coloured braided wire throughout. It may have been replaced after all. In any event, I'll keep searching for a wiring diagram.
Cheers.

'29 Model F Wiring Diagram & Wire Colours
Hi. Does anyone a wiring diagram showing the colour of the various cables for a '29 Model F? I have recently purchased a very original Model F. The wiring looks original and while not bad for the bikes age, some wiring needs replacing. The existing cotton braid cable has faded badly to the point whe...

Re: Which pistons are available for my ariel
Thanks Johnny. Unless I hear anything to the contrary over the next week, I might try the Molybdenum Disulfide coating on the JP piston and report back. In the scheme of things it is not a big outlay (about $35A). Just for interest, what racing engines are you running. Cheers.

Re: Which pistons are available for my ariel
Has anyone had any experience with having the piston skirt coated with friction reducing compounds such as Molybdenum Disulfide or high speed teflon? Triumph TR and MG engine rebuilders I have spoken to over here (Australia) swear by it. Given that friction leads to heat which leads to the piston ex...

Re: Single spares
Any update on when Single Spares will be up and running again? I have a couple of engine items I'd like to order.
Cheers.
