HS Replica

Inspired by Ben Mitchell's splendid article in the February Cheval, I'm contemplating an HS replica as a long term project - unless by some miracle I can find & fund a real one.

Many folk must have done this before and know the pitfalls?

There's nothing 'positive' as such to locate the crankshaft and the lipped rollers don't seem mind about dealing with end-float Simon, I seem to remember that the end-float on BSA twins is controlled by the timing side bush which is pulled onto the crankshaft by the timing pinion. Do we have any pictures of the last type of filter? I have a Drags one in my FH which I assume is the right one (it fits) but I'm confused by Paul's reference to a cone?
